The first anniversary of the community store is fast approaching and we’re planning to celebrate this milestone with some special offers and free refreshments and bites.

It is hard to believe it was only last autumn that we opened our community enterprise in a converted container in the village hall car park. Since then, the shop has gone from strength to strength, turning steady profits and recently benefiting from a new injection of funds from our share issue.

We want to thank all the volunteers, investors, suppliers and (of course) customers who have made it all possible.

Over the weekend of November 2 and 3, 2024, we're holding a Birthday Bargain Bash. On Saturday and Sunday visitors to the shop can take advantage of a range of celebratory offers, including:

• 10 per cent off all our beers, wines and spirits

• A free glass of bucks fizz or juice for every visiting customer

• A free Bon Appetit treat for every purchasing customer.
